Senior Business Analyst – Mostly Remote | Philadelphia Area

We are hiring a Senior Business Analyst for a mostly remote contract opportunity supporting complex, high-visibility business projects. Candidates should be located within a reasonable distance of Philadelphia, PA, as occasional onsite visits may be required.

Position Details

• Location: Mostly remote; Philadelphia-area candidates preferred
• Onsite Requirement: Infrequent onsite visits, typically less than once per month
• Contract Length: 6 months with potential to extend or convert
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Pay: Competitive, based on experience

Role Focus

• Serve as the primary Business Analyst on complex, business-focused projects
• Lead stakeholder meetings and facilitate requirements discussions
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements
• Perform process mapping, gap analysis, and solution definition
• Partner with senior leaders to clarify needs and drive decisions
• Support testing coordination, validation, and implementation readiness
• Help resolve competing priorities and build consensus across teams
• Document workflows, risks, decisions, recommendations, and next steps

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of business analysis experience
• Strong requirements gathering, process analysis, documentation, and testing support experience
• Experience facilitating meetings with business stakeholders and senior leaders
• Strong communication, organization, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

Strongly Desired

• Healthcare, research operations, or healthcare systems experience
• Business analysis certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or CCBA
• PMP or related project management certification

This person should be comfortable working with senior leaders, navigating ambiguity, building consensus, and producing clear documentation that moves complex business projects forward.
