Senior Business Analyst

Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company, is seeking a Business Analyst with our client in Minneapolis, MN.

Our client is looking to bring on a business analyst to help support the business in preparing for the operational, regulatory, and financial impacts of a Securities-Based Lending (SBL) loan migration. The Business Analyst will work across stakeholder groups to identify risks and gaps, document processes, track decisions, and help ensure the organization is ready to absorb the impact of a significant loan migration.

The central focus of this work is enhancing the reporting and controls associated with the inter-group agreement (IGA) between the loan operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and facilitate working sessions across bank and stakeholders such as Loan Operations, Finance, Treasury, Compliance, and Risk
• Lead structured conversations to surface, validate, and document current and future-state processes
• Document key decisions
• Define SLAs, accountability frameworks, and escalation paths
• Track work items in Jira
• Provide regular, concise status updates to business stakeholders, flagging risks and blockers

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally
• Facilitate meetings and manage group discussions
• Analyze information, maintain attention to detail, and organize work systematically
• Document processes and procedures
• Demonstrate familiarity with loan servicing operations
• Use Jira for project tracking and issue management

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

• Demonstrate familiarity with securities-based lending operations
• Understand regulatory and compliance requirements in banking environments

The base range for this contract position is $60-$90 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
