A financial services organization is seeking a Senior BA for a regulatory reporting conformance testing engagement in Charlotte, NC or remote.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: Hybrid or Remote (hybrid if local to Charlotte, NMC.
Responsibilities:
- Support conformance testing for FR 2052a reporting, including validation of liquidity schedules, data attributes, business rules, and outputs
- Provide secondary testing support for FFIEC 031 Call Report and FR Y-9C reporting initiatives
- Develop and execute test scenarios, test cases, validation procedures, and expected results for regulatory reports and supporting data
- Perform detailed validation of report calculations, business rules, data transformations, and reporting outputs
- Investigate data discrepancies, reconcile results, manage defects, and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve reporting issues
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Regulatory Reporting, Data Analysis, or Conformance Testing within banking or financial services
- Strong experience supporting FR 2052a regulatory reporting initiatives
- Experience performing regulatory reporting testing, data validation, reconciliation, and defect management
- Knowledge of FR 2052a, FFIEC 031 Call Report, and FR Y-9C reporting
- Strong understanding of regulatory reporting data flows, calculations, schedules, and reporting methodologies
- Experience with liquidity reporting data, treasury reporting processes, and regulatory reporting controls
- Experience with source-to-target mapping, data lineage, and data traceability
- Experience coordinating SIT, UAT, parallel testing, and production validation activities
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills
- Experience analyzing large volumes of treasury, finance, risk, and regulatory reporting data
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex data and reporting issues
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience supporting liquidity reporting, treasury transformation, or regulatory reporting modernization initiatives
- Knowledge of Federal Reserve liquidity reporting and reporting governance processes
- Exposure to FR Y-14M and FR Y-14Q reporting
- Familiarity with BCBS 239 data governance principles
- Experience using JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM, or similar testing and defect management tools
- Understanding of retail, commercial, consumer, wholesale banking, funding, liquidity, and balance sheet management processes
