Senior Business Analyst Contract Onsite Interview Location: Hybrid/Reston Virginia Industry: Healthcare (Preferred) Position Summary We are seeking a self-starter Senior Business Analyst who can work closely with developers, architects, and cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and drive the successful delivery of product features. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in Agile environments, mentoring junior analysts, and knowledge of non-functional/security/UX requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end business analysis throughout SDLC, ensuring solutions align with business goals and architectural standards. Collaborate with product owners, developers, and solution architects to define functional and non-functional requirements (security, performance, usability, UX). Translate business processes and APIs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows. Analyze new features, break them down into user stories, and support implementation discussions in Agile ceremonies. Create process flows, workflow diagrams, business rules, and use cases. Serve as a mentor to junior BAs, guiding best practices and quality delivery. Work across teams to validate requirements, manage changes, and support testing (UAT and regression). Contribute to Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives. Ensure excellent documentation standards and traceability from requirements to deployment. Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate solutions, identify gaps, and recommend improvements. Required Skills 7–10+ years as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise system deliveries. Strong experience in Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum/Kanban). Deep capability in writing user stories and acceptance criteria for both frontend and backend/API features. Experience defining non-functional requirements (security, performance, usability). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to independently drive work and self-manage priorities. Hands-on experience with workflows, process mapping, and business analysis tools. Preferred Skills Experience working with ServiceNow (CSM, ITSM, CRM modules) — implementation experience is a strong plus. Healthcare domain experience (payer/provider/clinical systems). Familiarity with API design, testing, and integration concepts. Experience supporting UX improvements and user adoption. Ability to collaborate with technical architects on solution designs. Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field. Agile/BA certifications (CSM, CBAP, PSPO) are a plus.
