I. Job Summary
Acts as a liaison between the Technology and the business on request for new systems and enhancement of existing systems. Conducts advanced level business process analysis, needs assessments preliminary cost/benefit analysis, project scoping, and requirements elicitation and documentation to align Technology solutions with business initiatives. Provides leadership and mentoring to junior analysts.
II. Duties and Responsibilities

• Leads the requirements gathering and analysis for large, complex projects. • Acts as the liaison between business users and IT developers during the project lifecycle. • Contributes advanced knowledge in formulating systems scope and objectives relative to the organizations business plan and business architecture. • Documents requirements and manages communication with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring that business needs are clearly understood and documented. • Coordinates with users and facilitates working sessions to determine and document business and user requirements, process flow definitions, and functional specifications. • Responsible for document repositories, maintenance and updates of project documentation library. • Oversees and ensures the quality of the requirements documentation and deliverables. • Coordinates with QE to formulate test plans and with the project team to gain business user acceptance. • Reviews progress and evaluates results for accuracy and efficiency.
III. Supervisory Responsibilities
May coach and mentor less-experienced analysts and act as team leader on systems projects.
IV. Qualifications

A. Education and Experience
Education: Bachelors Degree (accredited) in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience.
Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
• Advanced requirements analysis: Ability to handle complex, cross-functional requirements and systems. • Leadership: Ability to mentor junior BAs and manage project timelines. • Advanced technical understanding: A deeper understanding of IT systems, databases, cloud technology, and software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall). • Risk management: Assess risks and dependencies in projects, propose solutions to mitigate them. • Change management: Ability to manage changes in scope, requirements, or stakeholder expectations.

• CBBA or CBAP certification preferred but not required • SQL ability preferred but not required

• Normal setting for this job is: office setting Monday-Thursday, work-from-home Friday • Expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $95,700 - $140,000 • This range represents a good-faith estimate for this position.
