DescriptionLooking for a Senior Business Development Representative to join our growing sales team and help us build and accelerate our insurance partner pipeline. This is a high-activity, high-visibility role designed for someone who has already proven they can generate pipeline and is ready to take the next step toward a closing role. You will identify, engage, and qualify opportunities across insurance carriers, MGAs, program administrators, public entity risk pools, and brokerages.This role is a direct track to an Account Executive position for the right candidate. InsurTech is one of the fastest-growing sectors in B2B SaaS, and is positioned at the center of it. If you are hungry, coachable, and ready to grow into a full-cycle closer within a booming industry, this is the opportunity.What You Will DoExecute 50+ outbound calls per day to generate qualified meetingsResearch target accounts and prospects to craft personalized outreach that speaks directly to their business challenges, tech stack, recent initiatives, or industry trends - moving beyond templates to drive meaningful engagementSupplement phone outreach with email, LinkedIn, and other touchpointsBuild and maintain relationships over time with prospects through consistent, value-driven outreach. The relationships you make early in this role will directly impact your future sales success as an AEResearch and identify target contacts within carriers, mutuals, MGAs, pools, program administrators, and brokeragesRepresent at industry conferences and trade showsMaintain accurate activity and pipeline data in SalesforceCollaborate with marketing to refine messaging based on market feedbackWhat You Will Bring6 to 12 months of BDR or SDR experience with a documented track record of hitting or exceeding quotaDemonstrated success in cold calling, including comfort with high-volume phone outreachA people-first mindset: you genuinely enjoy meeting people, building relationships, and representing a brand in personWillingness and availability to travel for conferences and client meetingsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and outreach platforms (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, or similar)A competitive, coachable attitude and a desire to grow quickly into a full closing roleInterest in or exposure to insurance, insurtech, or B2B SaaS is a plusBase salary: $60-85k ($110-125k OTE)Job RequirementsRequired Skills / Qualifications1 year of proven experience in B2B Enterprise SaaS sales, Insurtech, or insurance adjacent solutionsPreferred Skills / QualificationsStrong relationship management, discovery, storytelling, and value-based selling skillsBachelor's degree in a business-related field preferredAbility to engage prospects and build rapport with diverse stakeholders and executive level contactsExceptional communication, organization, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and think creatively about proposalsFamiliarity with Insurer tech stacks, e.g., core platforms.
