We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) / Functional Architect to play a strategic role in the on-going implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O, Project Operations, Field Services). This role partners closely with business stakeholders and our System Integrator (SI) to design solutions, guide platform evolution, and ensure long-term success of the D365 landscape. This role requires a combination of deep functional expertise, architectural mindset, and operational ownership to help Econolite transition from implementation to enable long-term operational success.
DUTIES
Business Engagement & Process Optimization
As a trusted advisor to Finance, Operations and Service business, drive discovery workshops focused on process transformation
Design processes (requirements, functional specifications, user stories and process flows) for financial operations, project lifecycle & billing models, and field service operations
Functional Architecture Configuration & Execution
Act as a functional solution architect across D365 F&O, Project Operations, and Field Services
Lead gap-fit analysis and strategy, balancing D365 best practices and Econolite's operating model / roadmap
Translate business objectives into end-to-end designs and architectural decisions
System Integration Partnership
As part of a joint delivery team with our System Integrator (SI), ensure alignment between technical implementation and business objectives through the project.
Collaborate closely with SI throughout the implementation lifecycle to ensure solutions align with business objectives, functional expectations, and operational needs.
Ensure delivered solutions are validated through testing, feedback and business acceptance.
Production Support, Stabilization, & Troubleshooting
Provide advanced functional oversight for Tier-2/Tier-3 issues
Maintain a prioritized backlog of enhancements, bug fixes, and feature requests based on a business value prioritization.
Conduct root-cause analysis and implement preventative fixes
Drive platform stabilization initiatives, implementing preventative controls
Release Management & DevOps Coordination
Implement DevOps best practices that enable controlled, reliable releases of new functionality and updates
Coordinate changes with technical teams to plan, schedule, and execute releases
Leverage Azure DevOps or similar tools to automate solution deployments and accelerate release cycles
Validate deployments post-release, ensure that release notes and documentation (technical documentation, user guides, training materials, and knowledge base articles) are complete and accurate

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Primarily an office-based role requiring prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and travel occasionally for meetings, training, or company events as needed.

COMPENSATION
The base pay range for this full-time exempt position is $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year plus benefits. Pay ranges are determined by various factors, including role, experience, and location. The pay range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base pay rates for this position. Within the range, actual individual compensation is determined by various factors, including location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
