Job Description

Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. May be internal or external, client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions. May include company-wide, web-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum Education & Experience Bachelors degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience; OR Masters degree with a minimum of 3 years of related experience; OR Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Information Management, Computer Science preferred

Required Skills & Experience Agile process expertise with proficiency in scrum/agile development techniques Strong analytical skills for complex business problem-solving Ability to bridge business requirements with technical design through effective collaboration Excellent communication skills to bridge business and technical teams Proficiency in creating solution documentation for both business and technical audiences Ability to provide product leadership while respecting agile team dynamics Proficiency with collaboration tools, product testing, issue tracking, and backlog management Experience with system design methodologies and documentation standards

Desired Skills & Experience Experience leading cross-functional teams Consultation experience with automated systems users Experience with design thinking techniques Experience creating and maintaining comprehensive solution documentation Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution Ability to identify and communicate fact-based risks and dependencies Experience demonstrating solutions to stakeholders Ability to mentor junior team members (for higher levels) Background in creating frameworks and best practices for product delivery

The expected base pay for this position ranges from $100,000 - $111,000 annually, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
