Position Summary

The Senior Analyst (Enterprise Systems) supports SDHC's enterprise applications, such as Yardi Voyager ERP, CRM, housing, and case-management platforms, ensuring they are stable, user-friendly, and aligned with agency needs.

This role is ideal for someone who loves learning, solves problems creatively, and is excited to use technology (including AI tools) to improve services for both staff and the community.

Exposure to affordable housing, Rental Assistance, or Real Estate systems is helpful but not required. SDHC welcomes candidates who bring strong analytical ability, curiosity, and the capacity to learn complex systems quickly.

The selected candidate will be expected to learn and support Yardi Voyager 7S from an administrator perspective, applying strong technical curiosity and the ability to quickly understand complex enterprise systems.

Examples of Essential Job Functions

Key Responsibilities System Support & Administration

  • Support enterprise systems including user provisioning, configuration, troubleshooting, and monitoring.
  • Provide day-to-day assistance to internal teams and coordinate with software vendors when needed.
  • Assist with system updates, patches, performance checks, and new feature rollouts.

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with Finance, Rental Assistance, Compliance, Real Estate Development, and other departments to understand needs and align technology solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into simple, clear system updates or configuration changes.
  • Help ensure systems effectively support agency workflows.

Data Quality & Reporting

  • Pull and validate data to support compliance, operations, audits, and decision-making.
  • Use SQL, reporting tools (Power BI, ERP reporting modules), and data analysis techniques to deliver insights.
  • Support data governance and data integrity efforts.

Process Improvement & Analysis

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve system usage.
  • Participate in testing, documenting, and implementing system changes and enhancements.
  • Evaluate incoming requests to help prioritize improvements.

Training & User Support

  • Provide patient, user-friendly support to staff of varying technical backgrounds.
  • Develop and maintain clear instructions, process guides, and training documents.
  • Communicate system changes and support successful adoption.

Typical Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field - or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications in business or public sector environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Customer-service mindset with patience and professionalism.
  • Valid California driver's license (or ability to obtain one).

Preferred but Not Required Skills

  • Experience with Yardi Voyager 7S, Rent Cafe, Compliance Monitor, and other Public Housing Authority Modules
  • Experience with any ERP, CRM, case management, or property management platform (Yardi Voyager, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, MRI, Workday, etc.).
  • Strong Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience supporting end-users or providing tiered customer service.
  • Exposure to affordable housing, Rental Assistance, or Real Estate workflows.
  • Ability to learn complex systems quickly and work collaboratively across departments.
  • Interest in using AI-powered tools (Copilot, workflow automation, data assistants) to improve efficiency.
