Senior Business Systems Analyst (SuccessFactors) to support a top-tier media and entertainment partner in Midtown Manhattan. In this role, you will take ownership of maintaining, configuring, and optimizing current-state HR technology applications-specifically SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0 and integrated SaaS talent tools-while the core enterprise team executes a major HR system transformation.
We are looking for a hands-on technical analyst who deeply understands HR talent acquisition processes, possesses direct configuration capabilities in SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0, and feels comfortable working closely with engineering teams to test APIs, design technical specifications, and build out functional requirements.
This position requires
working on-site 4 days per week in Midtown Manhattan, NYC.Responsibilities:- Application Support & Configuration: Perform hands-on configuration, testing, native reporting, and day-to-day administration for SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0 and talent systems (SmartRecruiters, ClickBoarding, PageUp).
- Business & Functional Analysis: Partner with HR Operations, business stakeholders, and vendors to translate requirements into detailed functional designs, process workflows, and authorization models.
- Engineering & Integration Collaboration: Partner with backend IT/engineering teams to create functional specifications; assist in evaluating APIs (e.g., using Postman) and integration capabilities around SAP BTP extensions.
- Current State Stabilization: Maintain system stability, manage support tickets, execute vendor release adoption, and ensure seamless continuity while business operations transition toward Employee Central.
- Reporting & Analytics: Build custom business reports utilizing native toolsets (Report Stories, BIRT, etc.) to support business reporting requirements.
- Production Deployment Support: Participate in critical production deployments, system upgrades, patching, and data corrections as needed.
Required Skills- 5+ years of experience delivering enterprise HR/IT solutions and related project/support activities.
- Hands-on configuration expertise in SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0 (Onboarding 1.0 experience alone is insufficient).
- 5+ years of experience with Core HR / Talent concepts and employee lifecycle management (hire-to-retire), with familiarity navigating SAP HCM (PA/OM) or SuccessFactors Employee Central.
- Technical & API Aptitude: Comfort interacting with technology teams, creating functional technical specifications, and utilizing tools like Postman to explore and test APIs.
- Requirements Gathering: 3+ years of experience in requirements engineering, solution modeling, process design, and documentation.
- SaaS ATS Knowledge: Experience working with modern SaaS recruiting and onboarding platforms (SmartRecruiters, PageUp, ClickBoarding, or SuccessFactors Recruiting).
- Excellent communication, task management, and stakeholder-facing skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Skills- Direct experience configuring SmartRecruiters or PageUp platforms.
- Familiarity with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) extensions and mass onboarding custom apps.
- Experience with SuccessFactors Report Stories, BIRT, and security authorization models.
Additional Details The target annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000, depending on experience. Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range,
