Our client is seeking an autonomous, highly skilled Senior or Staff-level Workday Business Systems Analyst for an immediate contract role. This position is designed for a plug and-play operator who can step in to own an active project pipeline, launch earmarked initiatives, and provide steady-state operational support across the tenant.

The ideal candidate must be a subject matter expert in Workday Talent Acquisition (TA) and Core HCM, with a solid functional understanding of Total Rewards (Benefits). Given our environment, strong experience maintaining system compliance under SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) controls is essential. You will be responsible for executing specific TA optimization projects, maintaining tenant hygiene, and resolving routine day-to-day configuration requests.

Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition & Core HCM Initiatives

  • ATS Optimization: Clean up and standardize remaining Offer Letters, optimize Onboarding Plans, and implement Probation Period Management frameworks.
  • SOX Compliance & Auditing: Support TA workflows and system configurations ensuring alignment with internal controls, Segregation of Duties (SoD), and IT General Controls (ITGC). Maintain audit-ready documentation for all tenant changes.
  • Third-Party Integrations: Provide final optimization and support for the Paradox to GoodTime workflow transition within the TA space.
  • Tenant Hygiene & Process Management: Configure Legal Hold processes, review location strategies, handle relocation submissions, and manage the restructuring and renaming of Supervisory Organizations.

2. Day-to-Day Operations & Support

  • Actively manage and resolve a steady volume of routine LODO requests and day-to day configuration updates across both the Core HCM and TA modules to maintain system stability.
  • Provide ad-hoc configuration support for Total Rewards / Benefits modules (e.g., updating benefit plans, modules, or business processes) as required by the business.

Requirements:

  • Workday Expertise: 6+ years of deep, hands-on configuration experience within Workday Recruiting (ATS) and Core HCM at a Senior or Staff level.
  • SOX Environment Experience: Proven experience working inside a public company tenant, managing configuration change control logs, and partnering with security/audit teams to satisfy SOX requirements.
  • Production Support: Proven track record of handling day-to-day operational tickets, system maintenance, and Core HCM administration with minimal oversight.
  • Cross-Module Versatility: Functional understanding of Workday Benefits / Total Rewards with the ability to assist with occasional plan or module updates.
  • Project Delivery: Experience delivering on a backlog of earmarked functional improvements and stabilizing third-party TA integrations.
