    We are seeking a highly motivated senior buyer to lead procurement activities and driving cost effective strategies. This role is responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely procurement of materials while maintaining quality and cost targets.

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Lead the RFQ process for the procurement of indirect materials, services, and capital equipment, ensuring optimal business value through competitive pricing and alignment with requirements

    • Oversee contract review as a key strategic function, ensuring all agreements support operational goals, protect the organization’s interests, and align with compliance requirements.

    • Negotiate, review, revise, implement, and manage blanket purchase agreements and purchase orders

    • Evaluate, qualify, and onboard new suppliers to support organizational needs and strategic sourcing initiatives

    • Continuously identify and pursue cost‑saving opportunities across all procurement categories

    • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure consistent supply and resolve quality, delivery, or cost concerns

    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction in purchasing and inventory management processes

    • Maintain accuracy and compliance within the purchasing system by effectively utilizing Hexagon EAM, Infor ERP LX, CaneaOne, and Medius.

    Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; equivalent experience considered

    Experience:

    8-10+ years of experience in purchasing / procurement, ideally in the manufacturing industry

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Teams

    • Reliable, dependable, with a high work ethic

    • Proven capability to handle concurrent responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

    • Exhibits flexibility by embracing challenges and seeking continuous improvement and personal growth

    • Strong negotiation and communication skills

    • Ability to work with project managers and cross functional teams on capital investments & procurement activities

    • Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and standards

    • Support audits and internal reviews as required

    Work Model:

    Hybrid – in office at least three days per week
