Job Description

Serve as the primary supply chain and procurement partner for designated customer programs. Develop and implement sourcing strategies that support production schedules, new product introductions, and long-term business objectives. Manage the full purchase order life cycle, ensuring material availability aligns with customer demand and forecast requirements. Build strong supplier relationships while actively monitoring delivery performance, commitments, and potential risks. Identify alternative suppliers and sourcing solutions to minimize shortages and supply chain disruptions. Lead material expediting efforts and resolve procurement challenges to maintain production continuity. Drive inventory optimization initiatives that improve inventory turns and support working capital goals. Analyze demand changes, backlog fluctuations, and inventory trends to guide business decisions. Communicate program status, risks, and action plans to stakeholders across the organization. Partner with internal teams to enhance supply chain performance and customer delivery metrics.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Minimum seven years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or materials management. Background within manufacturing, electronics, technology, or other complex production environments. Proven experience managing supplier performance, material availability, and delivery schedules. Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience working with ERP systems and procurement tools. Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and suppliers. Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment while managing multiple priorities. Demonstrated ability to proactively identify issues, develop solutions, and drive results. Electronic component sourcing experience is highly preferred.
