Here's what we're looking for.

• Associate degree in Business or related field preferred
• 5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in food manufacturing
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Word
• Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Navision experience preferred
• Knowledge of food safety, quality assurance, and packaging materials preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor raw material and packaging inventory levels using MRP and ERP systems
• Create, process, and manage purchase orders to support production schedules
• Coordinate with approved vendors to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries
• Track and reconcile inventory levels, blanket purchase orders, and packaging supplies
• Maintain supplier documentation including specifications, insurance certificates, audits, MSDS, and compliance records
• Work closely with shipping and receiving teams to ensure accurate inventory transactions
• Resolve supplier issues related to shortages, damaged goods, or out-of-spec materials
• Support inventory control processes and physical inventory activities
• Maintain accurate records and purchasing files
