  • Proficiency with SAP or another enterprise resource planning, purchasing, inventory, or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, for purchasing analysis, reporting, and data management.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze information, prioritize material risks, and provide clear direction and recovery recommendations.
  • Ability and willingness to work on-site at the Siemens Smart Infrastructure manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience providing direction, coaching, or day-to-day guidance to buyers, purchasing specialists, or other materials team members.
  • Experience purchasing electrical, mechanical, electronic, or other production components in a high-mix manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with supplier negotiations, sourcing activities, supplier performance management, inventory optimization, or cost-reduction initiatives in addition to direct purchasing execution.
  • Experience resolving Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt (GR/IR) discrepancies and coordinating with receiving, accounts payable, planning, and production teams.
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in supply chain management, business, operations, engineering, or a related discipline.
