Senior Buyer, Indirect Spend

The Senior Buyer of Indirect Spend will manage and lead key aspects of strategic sourcing, stakeholder management, supplier management and tactical purchasing with a focus on MRO, CapEx, Facilities & Waste Management for a manufacturing site in Delaware County, PA.

Description

• Manage procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Coordinate logistics to ensure smooth delivery of goods and materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
• Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Prepare reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

Profile

• 5+ YOE manging indirect spend categories for a manufacturing site/business.
• Experience leading MRO, CapEx, Facilities Management categories is preferred.
• Ability to execute on $40-80MM in annual spend.
• Prior experience working in a procurement function at a high caliber food & beverage manufacturing site is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to build and manage strong internal relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to build and maintain effective vendor and supplier relationships.
• Knowledge of logistics and inventory management best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Job Offer

• Annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 USD + 10% annual bonus
• 401K with 6% employer match, fully vested after 2 years of employment.
