Key Responsibilities of the Senior Buyer

Manage purchasing activities and supplier relationships for assigned commodities
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
Identify cost-savings opportunities and process improvements
Analyze supplier performance and recommend corrective actions when needed
Work closely with operations, manufacturing, planning, and engineering teams
Resolve supply chain and material availability challenges

Qualifications for the Senior Buyer

5+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience
Strong negotiation and supplier management experience
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement improvements
