Brand new position to oversee ingredients purchasing across 2 facilities!About Our ClientOur client is a food manufacturer & distributor focused on producing premium, high quality inspired foods.Job DescriptionDevelop and execute procurement strategies to source high-quality ingredients. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve cost-effective agreements. Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality and delivery standards. Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively. Analyze market trends and data to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier agreements. Resolve supply chain issues promptly to minimize disruptions. Ideal candidate has experience sourcing & purchasing ingredients including (oils, flours, and protein). Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to analyze market trends and apply data-driven decisions. Proficiency in inventory management and demand planning. Attention to detail and the ability to resolve supply chain challenges effectively.
