Senior Procurement Specialist
About the Opportunity
A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced procurement professional to support strategic sourcing, supplier management, and material planning activities. This individual will play a key role in ensuring critical materials and services are available to support operational goals while driving cost savings, supplier performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Do
Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business and operational objectives.
Build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to improve service, responsiveness, quality, and overall value.
Lead supplier negotiations and support initiatives focused on reducing costs and improving long-term supply continuity.
Monitor market conditions, pricing trends, and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities and mitigate risk.
Partner closely with operations, engineering, quality, planning, and finance teams to support business initiatives and production requirements.
Manage purchasing activities for materials, components, and external services required to support manufacturing operations.
Resolve material shortages, supplier performance concerns, and delivery challenges in a timely manner.
Support procurement process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and overall supply chain performance.
Utilize enterprise systems and purchasing tools to maintain data integrity, support planning activities, and improve operational visibility.
Contribute to inventory optimization, supplier development, and risk reduction efforts.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and applicable business requirements.
Participate in additional projects and responsibilities as needed.

What We're Looking For
Experience in purchasing, sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or related functions within a manufacturing environment.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.
Experience working with ERP, MRP, or similar business systems.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Proven ability to collaborate across departments and influence outcomes.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline preferred.
Pay Details: $72,000.00 to $90,500.00 per year
