Senior Buyer Planner - Aviation
We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer Planner to support aviation parts procurement, inventory planning, forecasting, and supplier management.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer Planner to support aviation parts procurement, inventory planning, forecasting, and supplier management.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure aircraft parts, materials, tools, and equipment from internal and external suppliers.
- Manage inventory planning, forecasting, and analysis to meet customer and aircraft delivery requirements.
- Expedite purchase orders and resolve material shortages, discrepancies, warranty, and core issues.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, contracts, delivery schedules, and special programs.
- Identify critical material requirements, prioritize orders, and maintain shortage reports.
- Maintain accurate inventory transactions and work within MRP/ERP systems.
- Identify alternate and superseded part numbers and support new part number requests.
- Collaborate with Buyers, Supervisors, Managers, and other departments to resolve material issues.
- Train and mentor coworkers on applicable systems, processes, and supplier programs.
- 7+ years of experience in aviation, aerospace, materials, parts, procurement, or a related environment.
- 2–3+ years of inventory forecasting and analysis experience.
- Experience with an MRP/ERP system.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft parts, aviation terminology, inventory planning, and procurement.
- Strong supplier management, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
