We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to support our manufacturing operations through strategic procurement, supplier management, and inventory planning activities that ensure uninterrupted production and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procure raw materials, packaging, and services to support production requirements while meeting cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
  • Manage supplier relationships and collaborate with vendors to ensure consistent material availability and strong service performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and demand requirements to maintain appropriate stock levels and minimize supply disruptions.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with suppliers in coordination with Corporate Purchasing.
  • Support new product launches, inventory replenishment activities, and intercompany material transfers across MAPEI facilities.
  • Partner with production, planning, quality, logistics, and corporate teams to support operational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Resolve supplier quality issues, delivery delays, and service concerns while implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Perform assigned tasks in conformance with procedures and instructions established in the Business Management System (BMS) and in compliance with applicable Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor''s degree from an accredited college or university in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or materials management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience purchasing raw materials, packaging, or production-related materials preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with ERP, purchasing, or inventory management systems preferred.
