Role: Sr. CAD Designer – Switches with 5+ yrs
Location: Michigan, USA
W2 Roles
- Design HMI components including switches, touchpads, displays, dynamic lighting, and contactless sensor housings.
- Strong experience in small plastic part design with high focus on aesthetics, precision, and gap/flush.
- Proficient in Siemens NX and CATIA V5 for 3D modeling, surfacing, and detailing.
- Apply DFM for injection molding, including ribs, snaps, bosses, and light guide features.
- Support electromechanical packaging with PCB, connectors, LEDs, and sensors.
- Create drawings with GD&T and ensure tolerance stack-up meets functional requirements.
- Work on BOM, engineering releases, and change management in PLM systems.
- Collaborate with global teams to support prototyping, validation, and production launch.
