About the Role
In Bohler’s Richmond, VA office, you’ll apply your AutoCAD and Civil 3D expertise to create detailed, buildable plans for land development projects throughout the VA area. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers and CAD specialists, ensure quality and accuracy in every document, and help guide newer team members as they develop their technical skills.
What You’ll Do
- Draft detailed site plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D for grading, utilities, and drainage
- Apply client and jurisdictional standards to project deliverables
- Perform quality control checks and ensure adherence to Bohler CAD standards
- Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project managers to meet deadlines
- Utilize AutoTURN, Bluebeam, and other tools for design refinement
- Provide technical guidance and support to CAD team members

What You’ll Bring
- High School diploma or technical certificate in computer-aided design (or equivalent)
- 2+ years of CAD experience in civil engineering or land development
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of Civil 3D
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities
