    Description

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provides prompt, friendly, and courteous service to all internal and external customers, while following company and gaming regulations.
    • Maintain and safeguard the confidentiality of guest/player information; Discuss confidential customer information only with appropriate department and division heads.
    • Maintains working knowledge of casinos, including but not limited to hours of operation of casinos, restaurants, and other amenities and responds to guest questions regarding the same.
    • Assists the management team with the operation of the Recyclers and ensures the funds are deposited and withdrawn as necessary.
    • Assists management team with conducting emergency Slot drops.
    • Distribute, redeems and verifies promotional items in accordance with specific promotion guidelines with enthusiasm.
    • Responsible for learning and performing a wide variety of monetary transactions for the guest, such as sales, register ringing/operation, check cashing, chip redemption, lottery and voucher redemption as well as understanding the casino and compliance systems.
    • Reconciles money, paperwork and other assets before, during or at the end of the work shift.
    • Assists in the safeguarding of company assets by ensuring all distinguishing job duties are performed according to established company policies and procedures.
    • May assist with building cassettes and balancing the bill validators for the ticket redemption and lottery machines. May at times respond to a guest dispute at a lottery machine.
    • Ability to balance funds and paperwork to reconcile banks.
    • Verify valid/acceptable photo ID in accordance with Rivers Casino/PGCB standards with every transaction.
    • Communicates pertinent information to supervisors such as guest service issues, payout discrepancies, variances and any other abnormality that may occur during their work day.
    • Handles guest questions, complaints or problems in a prompt and courteous manner. When unclear, passes information to a Supervisor for assistance.

    Work as a team with other casino departments in a respectful manner.

    • Facilitates fast, efficient and accurate transactions with guests and employees including, but not limited to redemption of ticket/vouchers and casino chips, processing monetary instruments, jackpot payouts, disputes and all other services offered now and in the future.
    • Interacts with the Count Drop team when verifying and accepting the accountability for the Table and Slot Drop.
    • Processes and maintains front money deposits & withdrawals, wire transfers, reel reward, cash/coin and found money.
    • Does regular bank deposits and receives cash deliveries from the bank. Verifies and takes accountability for Soft Count, TRM and Non-Gaming and Lottery buys.
    • Processes employee transactions such as mid-shift sells, re-impressments of banks and closeout variances.
    • Processes Guest Dispute paperwork, scan checks and other documents to maintain the database.
    • Redemption of ticket/voucher, traveler's check cashing, personal check cashing, generic reel reward transactions, promotional transactions and any other services that may be offered in the future.
    • Clean and maintain office and public areas to ensure a safe environment.
    • Ability to perform all transactions per policies and procedures.
    • May perform the duties of a Cage Cashier. This position may not act as a Cage Cashier in the same shift they are Main Bankers.
    • Performs other duties as requested or assigned.

    Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six months previous Cage Cashier, marketing, banking cashiering or similar related experience.
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Previous experience with working in a vault preferred.
    • Prior experience working with automated currency counters, coin counting machines and motorized cassette carts preferred.
    • Must possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) to effectively interface with guests and team members.
    • Must be able to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays.
    • Must have the ability to remain professional and tolerate stress related to servicing public guests in a high pressure and fast-paced environment on the Casino Gaming floor.
    • Ability to multi-task and remain calm during stressful and fast paced situations.
    • Must be able to be constantly exposed to casino-related environmental factors, including, but not limited to second hand smoke and excessive noise.
