A validation and quality assurance provider are looking to hire Calibration / Metrology Technician for their Noblesville IN project site. This unique group works to develop and blueprint a universally implemented validation process that reliably achieves quality, affordable and available healthcare products. This is a one year + assignment at an hourly rate of $65.00
Requirements / Responsibilities:
  • Ability to learn new skills regarding calibration and calibration processes.
  • Previous experience with electronic or pressure training preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills including algebra, geometry and statistics.
  • Familiarity with basic tools
  • Proficiency with office computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Basic organizational and time management skills
  • Basic interpersonal skills to interact with customers.
  • Position will include team lead responsibilities.
  • Candidates with experience in PMEL, PME, TMDE, Metrology, Calibration, ASQ CCT, METCAL, GPETE, Electronics, GCAMS,
  • Determine work priorities and effectively manage workload to complete duties within demand and time constraints and in compliance with known standards.
  • With guidance from department manager, provide training as needed to identified individuals.
Must Have:
  • For Mid-Sr. Level Techs, must have 5-10 years of experience as a Metrology Technician,
  • Must be able to calibrate basic components up to but not limited to centrifuges, refrigerators, freezers, pressure gauges and transmitters.
  • Preference for knowledge of typical pharmaceutical/biotech bench top and process equipment
  • Must be able to interpret and understand Engineering Drawings, also known as P&ID or blueprints or prints.
