Our client, an A-rated Insurance Carrier, is looking to bring on a Senior Workers Compensation Claims Specialist with strong knowledge in California law. This role will consist of handling moderate to complex California Workers Compensation Lost Time claims from inception to close. Qualified candidates must reside in California and have their SIP. This is a Temporary-to-Hire position with the ability to work remotely.
- Manage a pending of 100 - 110 moderate to complex California Workers Compensation claims with minimal supervision and guidance from the manager.
- Manage medical treatment and medical billing when appropriate
- Negotiate settlements with injured workers and attorneys.
- Consistently exhibit a high level of customer service and adherence to department Best Practices.
Requirements:
- 3 to 7+ years of experience handling Workers Compensation claims.
- Must be well-versed in California Workers Compensation Law.
- Must have SIP
- Must have experience handling litigated files.
- Excellent Customer Service and Organizational skills.
- High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
Salary/Benefits:
- $45.00/hr to $60.00/hr (depending on experience)
