Orchard House Care Home is a family-owned care home located in Scarborough, North Yorkshire that specialises in respite and long-term care.
One thing became abundantly clear: in 2025 there was a lack of good quality respite care available locally, and the people we were supporting and their families needed more than just a few hours' respite per week. Now at Orchard House, we can truly support people through a care journey that meets their needs for respite and long-term care.
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission as a residential care home for younger adults, people under and over 65, and for people living with dementia or complex needs.

Additional Information:
Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is essential. You must be willing to work alternative weekends and be part of the on call rota.. The needs of the individuals we support can vary, and there may be occasions where additional responsibilities are required to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
Experience is required in the form of team leader/senior position.
Experience in care is also required.
Full training will be provided, including specialist training in Positive Behaviour Support and managing behaviours of concern.
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position.
