The Senior Category Manager, Employee Benefits/Professional Services, serves as the strategic business partner and enterprise owner for Employee Benefits Services. Additional categories will include Human Resources, Health Insurance, Risk Services, Financial Services, Marketing and Communications.

The role is responsible for developing and executing multi-year category strategies that maximize value across the premises by optimizing costs, mitigating risk, improving service quality, fostering supplier innovation, advancing sustainability, enhancing accessibility, and driving long-term stakeholder outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Procurement Team and directly supervise professional staff.
• Develop and execute 3–5 year category strategies for Employee Benefits Services and Human Resources, Health Insurance, Risk Services, Financial Services, Marketing, and Communications
• Partner with executive stakeholders across premises 
• Lead supplier relationship management, performance reviews, and value creation initiatives
• Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing on sourcing events, supplier evaluations, and negotiations
• Drive spend optimization, supplier innovation, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement

Required Experience:

• 8+ years in Strategic Sourcing and Category Management with a focus on Employee Benefits, Health Insurance, and Risk Services, along with Human Resources, Financial Services, Marketing, and Communications.
• Experience partnering with executive stakeholders.
• Experience with category strategy, supplier management, stakeholder engagement, and contract negotiations
• Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.

Preferred:

• Experience with large, decentralized organizations
• CPSM or other Supply Chain certification
