Salary: $90,000 - $110,000

Location: Rockville, MD

Office Situation: Hybrid – 4 days per week in-office

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Manage Certified Payroll and prevailing wage compliance for government contracts
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with Davis-Bacon Act (DBA), Service Contract Act (SCA), and Department of Labor regulations
• 
  
• Process and review certified payroll reports accurately and on time
• 
  
• Support weekly and biweekly payroll processing
• 
  
• Prepare payroll reconciliations, journal entries, and payroll-related reporting
• 
  
• Process union payroll and union remittances
• 
  
• Partner with internal teams to improve payroll workflows and compliance processes
• 
  
• Serve as a trusted payroll compliance resource across the organization
• 
  

Qualifications:

• 
  
• 5+ years of progressive, full-cycle payroll experience
• 
  
• Strong hands-on experience with day-to-day payroll processing and operations
• 
  
• Strong payroll tax knowledge and experience researching and resolving payroll tax issues
• 
  
• Experience independently processing payroll from start to finish
• 
  
• Strong payroll reconciliation and analytical skills
• 
  
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex payroll issues and identify solutions
• 
  
• Self-starter who can work independently, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of responsibilities
• 
  
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• 
  
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• 
  
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
•
