A national provider of temporary and portable HVAC and chiller solutions is hiring a Senior Chiller Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair large-tonnage cooling equipment in the field. This is a hands-on, repair-focused role for a technician who can diagnose and fix chillers — not just run preventative maintenance.
What You'll Do
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair large-tonnage chillers and HVAC equipment in the field
Perform startups, shutdowns, and load-based performance checks
Respond to service calls and resolve issues to root cause with minimal downtime
Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and control sequences
Document work accurately and communicate clearly with the customer and dispatch
Must-Have
5–7 years of hands-on experience with large-tonnage HVAC and chiller equipment
Proven experience troubleshooting AND repairing chillers — not just preventative maintenance
Strong electrical, refrigeration, and controls diagnostic skills
EPA Universal certification
Valid driver's license and clean-to-acceptable MVR
