Impact Recruitment is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer, with 8+ years experience, to join our client's engineering Team in San Diego, California. Our client offers comprehensive, client-based, professional civil engineering, design, and consulting services. They have provided services for public works, utilities, industrial, commercial, retail and large housing projects.
Job Responsibilities:- Manage projects, clients, and the internal team to ensure all project goals and deadlines are met.
- Provide technical leadership to engineering technicians and other staff members in the department.
- Oversee the design of land development projects.
- Attend meetings with clients, reviewing agencies, contractors, and other design professionals.
- Establish and maintain project lifecycle from conception to completion.
- Additional related duties as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. Masters degree preferred, not required.
- Professional Engineer license required.
- 6+ years of experience.
- Experience on private development and municipal experience.
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated, team-oriented individual
- Advanced AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
- Extensive experience managing all aspects of land development projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and client communication.
- Ability to oversee, manage, and review work of other staff.
Key Attributes:- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the company and Client.
- Must have knowledge of project management methods, contract management, project scheduling, and reporting, proposal writing, and human resources management.
- Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
