SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER Salary $121,299.78 - $155,720.77 AnnuallyThe City of Stockton Municipal Utilities Department is looking for a dynamic and skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. In this role you'll have the opportunity to lead and oversee professional engineering work related to the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of a variety of essential storm, water, and sewer systems and projects.As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will supervise and direct the work of professional engineering staff and consultants engaged in a variety of capital improvement and utility infrastructure projects. This position offers the opportunity to take on challenging and rewarding assignments that make a meaningful impact on the community while working in a collaborative and innovative environment.We offer a flexible 9/80 work schedule consisting of nine-hour workdays Monday through Thursday and eight hours every other Friday, with alternating Fridays off. Work hours may be adjusted with supervisory approval. A typical schedule may include Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four‑year college or university with major coursework in civil engineering or a closely related field or possession of a valid California Engineer‑In‑Training Certificate AND five (5) years of responsible experience in design, development review or construction management of civil engineering projects, one (1) year of which was at a level equivalent to the City's class of Associate Engineer.Other Requirements Must possess a valid California Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer.Must possess a valid California Driver's License.#J-18808-Ljbffr
