Today, we're a thriving company with more than 10,000 professionals working in 55 offices worldwide and recognised as the global leader in Transmission & Distribution.Key Responsibilities Lead civil/structural engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with BS, Eurocodes, and ENA standardsManage design, analysis, and consultancy for T&D infrastructure, including substations, overhead lines, and underground cables.Approve designs, conduct technical reviews, and maintain compliance with CDM Regulations.Support cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and enhance UK civil/structural engineering capabilities.Develop new methodologies, refine engineering processes, and integrate BIM principles (Revit, Civil 3D, Tekla Tedds).Drive customer success, support bids, and foster relationships to expand our presence in the sector.Ensure adherence to client transmission procedures and industry best practices.Qualifications Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).7 years civil/structural design experience.Expertise in client (National Grid TP, SSEN & SPEN) procedures, CDM 2015, and Temporary Works.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, CAD/BIM software, and structural analysis tools.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and engage with diverse stakeholders.Desirable 5 years civil/structural design experience in T&D.Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status with ICE or IstructE or an equivalent professional licence gained through the professional institution to which the individual is aligned.Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH, NEBOSH, APS).
