Continued growth has led to five offices across Texas, located in Lufkin, Bryan, Tyler, Waco, and Groesbeck.Role DescriptionThe Senior Civil Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Waco, TX. This team member is a Professional Engineer who will lead civil engineering design for site development and public works projects, including grading, utilities, roadway design, and stormwater management systems. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing plans, specifications, and reports; coordinating with architects, surveyors, and other engineers; and guiding projects from planning through construction. The role involves mentoring junior staff, ensuring designs meet applicable codes and standards, and supporting quality control processes. The Senior Civil Engineer will also participate in client meetings, assist with scope and fee development, and help ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.QualificationsMaintains a Professional Engineering License in the State of Texas as a civil engineer.Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited university.Proficient in civil engineering design, including site layout, grading, utilities, and roadway design.Experience with stormwater management, drainage analysis, and design of detention/retention and conveyance systems.Strong background in civil engineering principles and practices, with the ability to apply them to planning and execution of projects.Proficiency with relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, hydrology/hydraulic modeling tools).Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders.Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to land development and public infrastructure.#J-18808-Ljbffr
