Job DetailsKey Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead civil engineering and land development projects from concept planning through construction certification
- Manage master planned communities and residential development projects
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and fee proposals
- Direct due diligence evaluations and feasibility studies for development opportunities
- Coordinate concept planning efforts with in-house planning teams
- Supervise multidisciplinary project teams and oversee project execution
- Manage permitting and approval processes with local, state, and federal agencies
- Coordinate with construction inspection personnel to ensure timely project completion
- Build and maintain client relationships while supporting business development initiatives
- Market engineering services through networking, relationship building, and client engagement
- Manage project financial performance, profitability, invoicing, and accounts receivable
- Mentor junior staff, assist with recruiting efforts, and support team development
Qualifications - Needed
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- Active Florida Professional Engineer (PE) License required (EIT candidates with demonstrated leadership and management experience may be considered)
- Minimum 5-10 years of Project Management experience within Civil Engineering
- Strong experience managing residential land development projects from entitlement through construction completion
- Master Planned Community development experience highly preferred
- Experience with project budgeting, profitability analysis, invoicing, and accounts receivable management
- Strong background coordinating permitting and approvals with governmental agencies
- Experience preparing project proposals, fee estimates, scopes of work, and schedules
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor staff, and manage multiple concurrent projects
- Demonstrated success maintaining client relationships and contributing to business development efforts
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
