Location: Sherman Oaks, California — hybrid schedule with associates generally working in the office at least 3 days per week. We value an in-office culture while offering additional flexibility for the right fit. This is not a fully remote position.
Note: An active California Bar license and at least 4+ years of substantive civil litigation experience are required. Candidates must have practical experience handling civil litigation matters and be prepared to contribute quickly.

Job Description
- Manage substantive civil litigation matters with significant responsibility and autonomy
- Draft and edit pleadings, motions, briefs, written discovery, and other litigation documents
- Prepare for, take, and defend depositions
- Conduct legal research and develop practical case strategies
- Work directly with clients to evaluate disputes, provide legal guidance, and move cases toward resolution
- Handle negotiations, mediations, hearings, and other key litigation events
- Prepare matters for trial and participate in trial proceedings when appropriate
- Collaborate closely with partners and colleagues across a broad range of civil and business-related disputes
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- 4+ years of substantive civil litigation experience
- Strong experience with pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation
- Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to independently manage multiple sophisticated matters and deadlines
- Trial experience preferred
- Mid-size or large law firm experience is a plus
- In-house and solo-practice candidates are welcome if they bring strong, practical civil litigation experience

- 4 to 5 years: $150,000 to $165,000;
- 6 to 7 years: $165,000 to $180,000;
- 8 to 10 years: $180,000 to $200,000; 10+ years: $200,000 to $210,000+
