Senior Civil Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Civil Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Newport Beach United States. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead complex civil engineering projects, drive innovation and contribute to the growth of our organization.Oversee and manage multiple civil engineering projects from inception to completion ensuring adherence to quality standards budgets and timelinesDevelop and maintain strong client relationships actively participating in business development and marketing initiativesLead project teams providing mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level engineersConduct site assessments feasibility studies and risk analyses for potential projectsCollaborate with cross-functional teams contractors and regulatory agencies to ensure project successPerform and review advanced engineering calculations ensuring accuracy in detailed drawings specifications and technical reportsManage project schedules budgets and resource allocation effectivelyEnsure compliance with local state and federal regulations particularly those specific to Newport Beach and CaliforniaDrive innovation by researching and implementing cutting-edge civil engineering technologies and methodologiesPrepare and present comprehensive project reports and proposals to clients and stakeholdersQualificationsBachelors degree in Civil Engineering; Masters degree preferredProfessional Engineer (PE) license in California requiredMinimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering project design and managementProven track record in business development and client relationship managementExtensive knowledge of civil engineering principles codes and regulations with a focus on California and Newport Beach-specific requirementsProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office SuiteStrong mathematical and analytical skills for advanced civil design engineeringDemonstrated experience in managing project schedules budgets and technical documentationExcellent leadership abilities with a collaborative approach to team-based problem-solvingSuperior written and verbal communication skills including technical report writing and client presentationsAbility to think innovatively and implement creative solutions to complex engineering challengesStrong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detailAdaptability to changing project requirements and industry trendsPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentDuties are typically performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.Ability to actively engage with a computer for several hours per day and communicate over the telephone or virtual meeting platforms.May occasionally need to lift items up to 15 lbs.Occasional travel may be required to visit project sites. Site visits may involve walking on uneven terrain climbing stairs or ladders and exposure to outdoor elements such as weather noise or construction activity.CompensationThe total compensation for this role includes a competitive base salary starting at $130000 combined with a performance-based bonus structure tied to the individual's contributions to the overall success and growth of the office. The base salary will be established based on the level of experience and contribution the individual can make.
