Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects.Worley is seeking a Senior CSA Engineer to provide senior‑level technical leadership and project execution oversight for complex industrial and infrastructure projects. This is a highly visible, client‑facing position responsible for coordinating and interfacing with Clients, Global Integrated Delivery (GID), and Home Office (HO) teams to ensure safe, high‑quality, and commercially successful project delivery across the full project lifecycle.This position will be based onsite at our Charleston, WV office.This role is ideal for an experienced CSA leader who combines:Technical expertise with structural emphasis.Strong communication skills (proficient in English language)Sound commercial awarenessAbility to guide and coordinate teams through complex engineering challengesKey ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & Project ExecutionProvide senior technical leadership across CSA scopeEnsure engineering deliverables meet Worley, client, and regulatory standardsIncorporate relevant information into equipment and material specifications, data sheets, testing requirements, and material requisitionsLead and support:Technical bid clarifications and evaluationsVendor data reviewsCertification activitiesReview and authorize work completed by engineers, designers, and specialistsContribute to cost estimating and proposal developmentSupport project execution strategiesClient, GID & Home Office InterfaceServe as primary CSA interface with Clients, GID, and HO teamsLead technical coordination efforts and facilitate issue resolutionRepresent Worley in discussions on complex technical mattersBuild strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholdersMentor junior team members as appropriateSite Support & ConstructabilityParticipate in constructability, operability, and maintainability reviewsEnsure review outcomes are incorporated into engineering and designCollaborate with site personnel to resolve execution issuesDevelop plans and documentation supporting:ConstructionTestingCommissioningOperationsMaintenanceHandoverProvide on‑site support during construction and commissioning as requiredLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead CSA teams, plan and coordinate work, and monitor progressEnsure quality deliverables are produced on time and within budgetMentor and develop team membersSupport performance management and contribute to a high‑performing engineering cultureDecision Making & AutonomyMake recommendations related to project execution strategy and CSA technical approachesCollaborate with project leadership and specialists on design alternativesOperate within approved budgets and schedulesSeek appropriate approvals for any required deviationsSupervision & AuthorityExercise professional judgment and self‑directed leadershipTypically lead a team of engineers, designers, and specialistsCoordinate large multi‑disciplinary teams as neededReview technical work for accuracy and completenessPlan and report on CSA project performanceContribute to performance evaluations, staffing, and team developmentSystems, Tools & Ways of WorkingProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPointNavigate internal systems and document management platforms effectivelyFunctional awareness of CSA discipline tools and cross‑discipline, data‑centric engineering environmentsExperience with Microsoft Access or Visio is a plusHealth, Safety & SustainabilityDemonstrate hands‑on leadership in HSE performancePromote Worley's Safe and Sustainable Engineering principles throughout the asset lifecycleRole‑model commitment to personal well‑being and proactive HSE leadershipPeople & Leadership CapabilitiesBuild strong, constructive working relationships and communicate clearlyThrive in high‑caliber, collaborative environmentsComfortable working across disciplines, offices, and delivery modelsResults‑driven, accountable for high‑quality outcomesNavigate complexity and ambiguity in technically challenging environmentsEssentialBachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural Engineering, or related disciplineActive Professional Engineer (PE) licensure where required by law10+ years of relevant CSA experience, including 3+ years in technical or project leadershipStrong knowledge of codes, regulations, manufacturing standards, and industry best practicesDemonstrated experience establishing discipline work processes, leading teams, delivering complex engineering packages, and supporting project closeoutExperience with project estimating and technical proposal developmentFormal training in leadership and project executionDesirableTraining or experience in risk management and/or quality managementExposure to procurement, construction execution, and field engineering activitiesStrong budgeting and cost control capabilityMoving forward togetherWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
