    Help shape the future of robotic-assisted interventions by bringing clinical insights, physician perspectives, and scientific evidence together to accelerate breakthrough innovations that improve patient outcomes. You will be part of a Breakthrough Innovation Team (BRITE) in the Innovation & Design Department reporting to Director, Clinical Innovation and will participate in cutting-edge research in robotics and the opportunity to work with leading experts, offering career growth in one of the most exciting fields in medical technology.

    Your role:

    • The main responsibility is maintaining and expanding relationships with key opinion leader physicians, including: organizing physician visits to the Cambridge, MA location, hosting clinicians for phantom/animal/usability studies and clinical site visits. In addition, coordinating conference participation with product management and clinical science teams, including renting NDA rooms, scheduling physician slots, delivering customer/physician demonstrations and organizing feedback sessions with physicians.
    • Serve as the clinical expert for the internal multidisciplinary team, acting as a connector and translator between internal technical staff and key opinion leader physicians, answering clinical workflow questions, providing internal multidisciplinary team clinical training and seminars, contributing to testing, evaluation and validation of device functionality in the clinical context with clinicians, in house or in the field. The role requires strong familiarity with cath lab procedures and the ability to interact with physicians on short notice, including by phone, text, or email.
    • Lead clinical collaborations and contracting activities with Key Opinion Leaders, research institutions, and hospitals, help to design and execute studies, including usability, phantom, animal, clinical and other evidence-generation activities. Through these interactions, you will gather critical clinical insights, evaluate new technologies, and help validate innovations that address unmet clinical needs.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams including R&D, Product Management, Systems Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Usability to ensure clinical workflow requirements, procedural considerations, and physician feedback are incorporated into product design and validation activities.
    • Continuously monitor developments in clinical practice, emerging technologies, and scientific literature to ensure that product development activities remain aligned with evolving clinical needs and future market opportunities.
    • Maintain the cath lab in Cambridge, MA addressing issues by coordinating with the maintenance and sales teams, and ensure necessary devices and supplies are purchased and stocked ahead of studies. Act as the clinical subject matter expert for reviewing and approving required product development documentation such as safety risk assessment documentation and clinical protocols.
    • Travel expected up to 20%.

    You're the right fit if:

    • You've acquired 7+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree (or 5+ years with a Master's

    degree) in Clinical Research, Clinical Science, Medical Affairs, Nursing, Radiologic Technology,

    Biomedical Sciences, Medical Device Development, or a related healthcare field. Backgrounds such as clinical education/physician training, clinical application specialist, field clinical engineer, medical science liaison with experience in neurovascular, image-guided therapy, interventional, or robotic medical technologies is strongly preferred. Cath lab and X-ray based image guidance experience is a plus.

    • Your skills include Key Opinion Leader physician management, customer/physician demonstrations, physician engagement, organizing physician feedback sessions, clinical training, clinical workflow analysis for endovascular procedures, and the ability to translate clinical insights from clinicians and complex clinical workflows into product development and device evaluation activities. Prior exposure to regulatory submissions, pre-clinical studies and clinical studies in a highly regulated healthcare environment is desirable.
    • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Biomedical

    Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Clinical Research, or a related discipline. Advanced

    clinical/scientific education or PhD is a plus.

    • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
    • You're an excellent communicator and relationship builder who thrives in multidisciplinary and fast-paced environments. Experience working with Key Opinion Leaders, conducting clinical collaborations, being involved in training activities, and supporting innovation programs is highly valued. You are highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic innovation environment.

    How we work together

    We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

    Philips Transparency Details

    The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is 149,000 to $237,000.

    The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

    In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.     At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
