Job Title: Senior Cloud Cybersecurity Specialist
Location: Tysons Corner, VA (Hybrid / Remote)
Duration: Fulltime

Position Summary
The Senior Cloud Cybersecurity Specialist will provide security engineering, compliance oversight, and cyber risk management support for the IRS hosted within AWS and Databricks FedRAMP High environments.

This individual will work closely with IRS cybersecurity teams to ensure continuous compliance with FISMA, FedRAMP High, NIST 800-53, and IRS security policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform continuous security monitoring.
  • Conduct monthly entitlement and access reviews.
  • Manage vulnerability remediation activities.
  • Maintain POA&M tracking and reporting.
  • Review IAM policies and access controls.
  • Support audit readiness and evidence collection.
  • Manage encryption controls for data at rest and in transit.
  • Review PrivateLink, network segmentation, and cloud security configurations.
  • Conduct security assessments and risk analyses.
  • Support disaster recovery and resilience testing.
  • Maintain security documentation and control artifacts.
  • Collaborate with cloud engineering teams on secure architectures.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years supporting FedRAMP High environments.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • AWS Security Services
    • IAM
    • Security Hub
    • CloudWatch
    • GuardDuty
    • KMS
  • Experience with:
    • FISMA
    • NIST 800-53
    • FedRAMP
    • POA&M management
  • Experience supporting federal audits.

Preferred Certifications
  • CISSP
  • CCSP
  • AWS Security Specialty
  • CISM
