    Who You'll Work With

    As a Modern Operations Senior Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting scalable and resilient cloud-based infrastructure with minimal oversight and direction. You will be part of the development of cutting-edge operations strategies that ensure the continuous delivery, security, and performance of enterprise Cloud Platforms. This role requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership to drive innovation, mentoring and excellence within the IT operations team including working onsite with customers and your team 2-3 days per week.

    What You'll Do

    • Support and manage enterprise cloud platforms, including onboarding and integration of new workloads and services
    • Drive infrastructure automation, standardisation, cost optimisation, and right‑sizing across cloud environments
    • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for both infrastructure and application deployments
    • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot cloud networking (VPC/VNet, routing, security, VPNs, load balancing)
    • Lead monitoring, incident response, and ITSM processes, including change/release management, SLAs, and escalation handling
    • Implement cloud security best practices (IAM, network security, encryption, compliance) and support performance, scalability, and
    • continuous improvement initiatives
    • Mentor engineers and coordinate third‑party vendors/support, acting as a key technical escalation point and ensuring effective issue resolution.

    What You'll Bring

    • Strong cloud engineering and DevOps expertise across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure-as-code
    • Clear communicator able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Proven problem-solving capability across complex cloud, infrastructure, and performance challenges
    • Strong stakeholder management skills, balancing competing priorities and delivery demands
    • Continuous improvement mindset focused on enhancing processes, tooling, performance, and reliability
    • Advanced analytical capability across capacity planning, cost optimisation, performance tuning, and monitoring insights
    • Collaborative team player with mentorship experience and solid ITSM knowledge, including hands-on use of platforms (e.g.
    • ServiceNow, Freshservice, Jira Service Management) and production support operations
