Description

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Storage Solutions Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise grade storage and data protection solutions across multi vendor platforms and multi cloud environments.

This role will lead architecture for high performance storage systems, enterprise backup and recovery, and automation strategies supporting diverse on premises and cloud workloads. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Dell PowerMax, storage networking, cloud platforms, and data protection architectures, along with strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

Design and architect high performance enterprise storage solutions across multi vendor and multi cloud environments
Lead enterprise backup and recovery strategies for diverse workloads, including VMware, AIX, Client UX, NAS, Windows, and Linux
Implement and optimize Dell PowerMax storage environments, including SRDF, Unisphere, and NVMe integrations
Integrate storage platforms with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architectures
Automate provisioning and configuration using tools such as Ansible, Python, PowerShell, and REST APIs
Design and implement data protection, replication, and disaster recovery solutions
Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and cloud teams to align storage architecture with business requirements
Troubleshoot and optimize storage performance, availability, and scalability
Support and maintain enterprise storage platforms and networks
Apply best practices in architecture, security, and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
8+ years of experience designing and supporting enterprise storage solutions
5+ years of experience with Cisco MDS director switches
5+ years of experience with:
- Dell PowerMax, PowerScale, and Elastic Cloud Storage
- IBM FlashSystem 7200
- NetApp Filers and StorageGRID
- Pure Storage X70/X90 ActiveCluster
5+ years of experience with storage automation using PowerShell, Ansible, or similar tools
5+ years of experience working with VMware environments
Strong experience with multi cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
Experience with enterprise operating systems including AIX, Client UX, Linux, and Windows
Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, and data storage systems
Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing hybrid cloud storage architectures
Deep expertise in data protection, replication, and disaster recovery strategies
Experience working in large scale enterprise environments with complex storage ecosystems
Strong background in storage networking and performance optimization
Experience leading cross functional infrastructure or architecture initiatives
