Pay Rate: $32.00 - $45.00 (DOE)

Job Title: Senior CNC Programmer

Responsibilities:

• Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for a variety of machines including multi-axis mills and lathes.
  
  
• Lead setup and programming for complex parts, ensuring efficiency, precision, and repeatability.
  
  
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T to create accurate machining strategies.
  
  
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes and reduce cycle times.
  
  
• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues, providing technical guidance to operators and junior machinists.
  
  
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, throughput, and cost-effectiveness.
  
  
• Select tooling, speeds, and feeds appropriate for materials and part geometry.
  
  
• Oversee and assist with machine setup, first article inspections, and validation of new programs.
  
  
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and maintain detailed documentation.
  
  
• Perform and guide preventative maintenance practices on CNC equipment.
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

• Minimum 7-10 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
  
  
• Advanced proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar).
  
  
• Strong knowledge of G-code, multi-axis machining, and tooling applications.
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
  
  
• Proven experience optimizing programs for efficiency and quality.
  
  
• Leadership or mentorship experience preferred.
  
  
• Must be able to work 10-hour shifts (4x10 schedule).
