Senior CNC Programming Toolmaker — Injection Mold Lead

Location: St. Francis, WI — Onsite (Sheridan Molding and Engineering, 4140 S Nevada Ave., St. Francis, WI 53235)

Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

A day in your role

At 6:00 a.m., you step into our St. Francis facility, review the day’s build plan, and load up your first program. By mid-morning, you’ve translated a complex mold design into precise toolpaths, set up a 3–4 axis VMC, and verified offsets. After lunch, you’re collaborating with an engineer on a tight-tolerance insert, moving from CAD/CAM to G-code/M-code edits, and finishing on a wire EDM. Before clocking out, you’ve validated critical dimensions with micrometers and calipers, documented results, and left the cell spotless and safe for the next day.
