Senior Commercial Cleaner - Jackson, MI

Introduction:

Exclusive Cleaning Services (ECS) has an immediate need for an experienced and dependable Senior Commercial Cleaner to service a client location in Jackson, Michigan.  This is a permanent, year-round part-time position servicing the same commercial facility one day per week.  The position is ideal for an experienced commercial cleaner looking for consistent supplemental income and an independent work environment.

Headquartered in Livonia, Michigan, ECS provides custodial services across southeast Michigan.  The commercial cleaner is responsible for ensuring client facilities are clean and well-maintained. Reliability, strong attention to detail, and a positive attitude is a must. A successful candidate in this role is punctual, can work independently and as part of a team, thorough but fast, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Vacuuming and mopping floors
• Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms
• Emptying trash and replacing liners
• Cleaning breakroom and common areas
• Dusting and wiping surfaces
• Cleaning entryways and high-traffic areas
• Removing tracked-in dirt, salt, and debris during winter months
• Following a detailed cleaning checklist and quality standards
• Reporting supply needs, maintenance concerns, or unusual conditions
• Ensuring the facility is clean and ready for the client's employees and visitors

What we're looking for:

• Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience strongly preferred
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality work
• Able to manage time effectively and complete an established scope of work
• Reliable transportation to the Jackson location
• Ability to pass a background check, if required for the client facility
