We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Commercial Finance Manager to serve as a strategic financial partner for our Electrical businesses. This is a high-visibility role designed for a professional who will provide the analytical rigor necessary to manage a complex P&L, help optimize pricing strategies, and ensure best practices for accounts receivable processing.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership & FP&A- Drive the Commercial Finance and FP&A functions delivering actionable insights that influence long-term business strategy.
- Navigate and resolve channel conflict through data-driven recommendations, balancing volume growth with brand equity and pricing integrity.
Revenue Optimization & Gross-to-Net Management- Own the Gross-to-Net (GTN) bridge, managing revenue leakage through aggressive oversight of rebate structures and trade spend.
- Assist with negotiations regarding rebate programs, ensuring incentives are aligned with corporate growth targets and drive the desired behaviors across top distributors.
- Secure price increases and manage value-based pricing initiatives to offset inflationary pressures and protect gross margins.
Team Leadership & Governance- Lead and mentor the commercial finance team, fostering a culture of precision, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure 100% accuracy in the estimation, accounting, validation, and payment of rebates in strict accordance with contractual obligations.
- Standardize commercial finance processes to enhance visibility into customer profitability and program ROI.
Required Qualifications- Experience: 6+ years of progressive experience in finance, with a heavy emphasis on commercial finance, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in managing complex P&Ls and a deep understanding of rebate accounting and gross-to-net dynamics.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing high-performing teams and the ability to influence C-suite or VP-level stakeholders.
- Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple objectives and help implement pricing strategies that secure market share while maintaining profitability.
Work Environment:
This position works in a professional office environment and in a manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc. The employee is frequently exposed to indoor and outdoor temperature changes and to noise, as well as plating chemicals, coolant, oil, high voltage electricity, welding/cutting/braising torches and grinding dust. Personal protective equipment is required in the manufacturing environment.
