Senior Commercial Lender

Position Summary

We are seeking a relationship-focused Commercial Lender with 3-10+ years of commercial banking experience to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for developing new business, managing an existing loan portfolio, and delivering customized lending and deposit solutions to commercial clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong credit skills, business development experience, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with commercial clients and prospects.
• Generate new loan and deposit business through active calling efforts and community involvement.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow to assess creditworthiness.
• Structure, underwrite, and present commercial loan requests for approval.
• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of commercial relationships.
• Monitor loan performance and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with credit, treasury management, and retail teams to provide comprehensive banking solutions.
• Represent the bank in the local market through networking and business development activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
• 3-10+ years of commercial lending and relationship management experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial credit analysis, underwriting, and loan structuring.
• Experience with C&I, owner-occupied real estate, commercial real estate, and small business lending preferred.
• Proven business development and portfolio management skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal partners.
