Our client is an a well-established, reputable law firm based in the Raleigh-Durham area with a great history and strong vision for the future.
This is a key role for this firm and their succession planning.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in developing and serving clients in some mix of Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, Equipment Leasing & Finance Litigation, Commercial Real Estate Disputes, Commercial Creditor Bankruptcy, or general Creditors’ Rights
- Worked in a private litigation practice with an understanding of, and prior responsibility for, managing the business aspects of a law practice
- Demonstrated practice leadership ability, including in the supervision and development of associate attorneys and staff
- NC Bar license in good standing
- Strong legal analysis and writing skills
- Strong courtroom and negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and work well with others in a team environment
Ideally, the candidate will have:
- Dual licensed in NC and SC (or willingness to obtain SC licensure)
- 7 or more years of litigation experience in federal, state, and/or bankruptcy courts
- Preference for in-office work environment in a collegial culture
