In our 75th year in operation with a staff of 500 + located across nine offices, we are proud to be one of the leading independently owned engineering firms in the country.We are looking for a Senior Commissioning Engineer to join our team on a hybrid schedule at our Alexandria, VA, NYC, Newark, NY or Boston, MA headquarters (Hybrid).Expand your skillset and have a voice by working outside the box with the way we approach projects at Vanderweil.Responsibilities:Provide Commissioning and Construction Administrative including engineering and technical support on ongoing projectsReview designs and lead and direct onsite commissioning activities, including technical documentation and contractual requirementsEnsure all aspect of construction project are designed, installed, tested and maintainedAssist with identification and addressing of commissioning and construction MEP/FP system operational issues.Responsibilities include development of Commissioning Plans, specifications and finial Commissioning Report. ”Cradle to Grave”Maintain strong client relationshipsTroubleshoot technical MEP/FP related issuesThe ability to act as a liaison between Vanderweil Engineers (PIC, Project Manager and engineers), end client(owner) and contractor (including subcontractors)Essential Skills:8+ years' experience in related field (on-site construction experience is required)MEP/FP design and construction experience is requiredBachelor's Degree in related field or related trade experienceUnderstanding of HVAC, Electrical or Plumbing controlsTravel required (No Weekends - limited overnights)PE, CX, and LEED Certification is a plusOur Flexible & Hybrid CultureCompensation range is $135,000 - $175,000, plus bonus and mileage eligible commensurate with years of experience, professional licensure, project exposure, and education.We know that work/life integration is important to our employees.
