    Senior Compensation Advisor

    Location(s):

    Osaic has returned to the office on a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 4 days weekly in the office. Applicants should be located at one of our hubs listed above and must be willing to work this schedule.

    Role Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt

    Salary:  $43,000 – $48,000 per year + annual performance-based bonus

    Actual compensation offered will be determined individually, based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, licensure, experience, and education.

    Summary:

    As a member of the Compensation Operations team, the Senior Compensation Advisor is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of advisor compensation transactions. This role supports core commission processing functions, payroll support activities, and collaborates cross-functionally with internal partners to ensure data accuracy and resolution of discrepancies.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and experience navigating systems and processes within a financial services or broker-dealer environment. Success

    in this role requires a combination of operational expertise, analytical skills, and a team-oriented mindset.

    Education Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

    Responsibilities:

    • Compile, process, and maintain commission transactions, including coding, adjustments, and reconciliations

    • Prepare, input, and track commission batches received from sponsors and representatives

    • Perform quality control on transactions and data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards

    • Research and resolve discrepancies related to commission statements, payments, and account activity

    • Support weekly compensation and payroll processing activities

    • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audit and compliance requirements

    • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and support operational workflows

    • Assist with escalations, priority requests, and time-sensitive processing tasks

    • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support system enhancements as needed

    • All other duties as assigned

    Basic Requirements:

    • 1-3+ years of experience in commission processing, financial operations, or a related field

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams

    • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data

    • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

    • Strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy in work output

    Preferred Requirements:

    • 2–4 years of experience in financial services operations or broker-dealer environment

    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)

    • Experience with commission systems, payroll processing, or transaction processing platforms

    • Familiarity with industry regulations and commission processing best practices

    • Experience supporting system enhancements, quality control or process improvement initiative
